You never feed me.
Perhaps I'll sleep on your face.

Interviews, being broke, etc.

So. My first interview: I was apparently over qualified. My second interview I didn't hear from for two weeks, so I figured it was a 'no'. Well, I heard back Friday, and I am invited to participate in a 2nd interview tomorrow, so apparently I am in the top 10%, so I have to drive to Rosemount tomorrow for it. I am nervous that I'll get lost (Even though Shaun and I did a run over there last night) because I get nervous about dumb crap like that. I had a different interview on Tuesday, but they're not deciding until mid May. I am really interested in that position also, sounds like it'd be a lot of (stressful) fun. But basically, we can't do anything now until I get some income. Which is ok, just makes for a really REALLY dull life. Oh, well.

I'm sitting at home all alone tonight because Shaun ran up to H-town to put on his new up and down pipe for his exhaust. So I have nothing to do tonight but stew about the interview. The kit-kits are up there being babysat by their grandparents, so I don't even have them to distract me. Mom says that they are really bored up there, and I was like, 'Well, think about what they're like in this teeny apartment,' but at least here they get to go outside on the kitty-proofed (more or less) deck. They have nothing but the great outdoors with no chicken wire to keep them in check up nort'.

Andrea and I are going to the Craftstravaganza craft fair Saturday. CAN'T WAIT!!! Love that thing. And Cory is showing up sometime Saturday, so we're going to grill out and then hang out that night, too. But all for a minimum of dinero, of course. ;-) Hopefully next time I'll update this sooner than nearly a month! Haha. Now that I said that, I totally jinxed myself.

Whoopsie! And I thought that I was doing good...!

At any rate, the reason why I never post is because nothing is ever going on. Dull life, that's me.

A couple of weekends ago, my parents came down and my mom finished my coat for me. It's beautiful, and I LOVE it!! I also got many compliments on it at work. :D I started making a tank top, and now is the perfect time to finish it while the kit-kits are at their grandparents', but... I guess I have no motivation. That same weekend Cory came over from Stout and Andrea came down from the north side of the cities. We went to eat at El Lorro (I was very disappointed this time! :*( ) and then went to shoot some darts at Prairie Pub. I got VERY frustrated because I was doing so poorly. I'm afraid I was a bad sport. I apologize once again, Cory and Andrea. After that we came back here and watched a movie. So we didn't have a wild and crazy night out at the bars, but that's ok too. It was just good to hang out with them again!

This past weekend we went to Shaun's parents' house. Yaaay for 6.5 hour car rides. The drive across the cities took over an hour (1/2 in good traffic). Even the back road was jammed up. We didn't do a whole lot while we were there, but that's ok. It was just nice getting to see them again. Shaun was happy, though, because he got tool chests for his birthday. So, yaaay Shaun.

I had a job interview today, I think it went ok. So the interviewing starts. Keep your fingers crossed for me! :D
