The rest of the weekend we literally did nothing. Sunday I sat in front of my computer for about 16 hours. Straight. I made a wallpaper for my Myspace, and then worked on an illustration which I will post. It's a work in progress, I am definitely not satisfied with it. It needs more shading. Anyway, at this point, I have a total of about 25 hours into it. Sad to think - that's over a day! It's been so long since I've actually spent any time doing anything really related to my major... I think that I have finally gotten over the overload of stress related to my senior project. Thank GOD. I have ideas in mind for canvases to paint to liven up our place since we aren't going to be painting anymore. But we have to wait until I get a job to do that. Ugh, I have the hugest creative urgings right now. I almost literally cannot sit still. I don't even want to read! (which, if you know me, says something!)
Monday Jennifer came down to see us! Yay! I <3 visitors! Monday night we had to try to get tickets for Cory @ the Xcel box office (but they were out) so then we went to eat @ Billy's Tavern (yum!!!) up on Grand and try to get me a new keychain that Shaun broke. But they were closed. So we then watched Walk the Line (great movie!). Tuesday Jen and I went swimming, then cleaned up and went to the MOA. We basically walked all the way around every floor. (We did #1 twice) but she got what she needed, and I spent less than $10. Then we came back here and I realized that Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire went on sale, so we went and picked that up, too. And then we watched it. (Of course!) Then Jennifer left this morning. I went and worked out. I found my iShuffle, thank goodness. It is a lot easier working out to fast-paced music than the TV. Seems to go much faster - you can break it down into how many songs you listen to, haha. Seems easier to digest that way. I know I have to start doing weights, but I detest weight lifting. But more muscles = more calories burned.
The lady from my first interview returned my call yesterday (I had made it in the morning) and said that she was still interviewing this week and that she'd get back to me. She called me 'hon'. I wonder if it's a speech mannerism or she actually liked me? Who knows. Haven't heard anything else about my second interview, but I'm not surprised. I just want a call back so I can actually go shopping! Haha!
Anyway, tomorrow I'm sure I'm just going to be cleaning up around here and working out whenever I get around to it. Friday we're going to our photographer's studio to get our wedding pictures (YAAAAAAAAAAAY!). I can't wait. And Shaun has free tickets to the Auto Show, so I'm sure we'll be going to that this weekend. Hope you all are having a great week!
Turns out I had more to say than I thought...!
Edit: Dietrich, our photographer called tonight. Turns out the processing center doesn't have the pictures ready for tomorrow, and that he would like time to get them arranged for us. So now we're going to pick them up Wednesday night. :( sad times!

Sorry, I had to. She's so darn cute sometimes.

Don't apologize!! I think your blog rating goes up with every cat photo you post. Seriously. :P I love those lil' furballs!
Pat McCurdy = college music.
Stereolab = adult intellectual music. Come with, please? :)
I know what you mean about having those creative urges. I have sooo many ideas but too few resources to get it all out. I'm constantly thinking about what to do next!
I think the woman calling you, "hon" was definitely a good sign. You are very likeable and I think that is a huge thing that people look for when interviewing. It's all about being personable.
YAY! for wedding photos! :D
