Job trials and tribulations!

I went in to the temp agency Tuesday after not having the interview on Monday like I thought. I assumed I was only going in to take a couple of tests. So I get those done and then the manager takes me into her office and tells me that she's not sure if she can talk this guy into taking me on because of my lack of experience, but there was this other position that I could probably do good at. But in the meantime she was going to have me work there in the office. So, that's cool. I was dead tired from my cold that I have, but I was all for making some $. So while I was working that afternoon, she called me into her office again to let me know that the guy that had the job open that I could probably work for was filled in house. So that option went out the window. But at any rate, she would continue to have me work in the office. So then I went to work there yesterday afternoon, and it was nice to be doing something. On my drive home I realized that I had forgotten my book that I had brought to read at lunch. But no big deal, since I'd be going there again today.

Wrong. On my way to the grocery store to get Shaun a lemon cake and flowers for his b-day, the branch manager called me. She said sorry, but the funding to keep you here for a couple of weeks did not go through. So once again, I had nothing to earn me some $. But then she said that she'd call me the next morning, when I told her that I had forgotten my book there and had to come back anyway. So I went there at 10:30 this morning. She now has me doing seminars and model homes. Both of which generally just require me to sit there and do not a whole lot. I get to go to a model home tomorrow morning, so that's fun. 12-5 in Woodbury. At least I have something to do! I'm just not looking forward to the drive. Bleck.

But I'm happy because we got the kitkits back. They shnuggled with us last night. I woke up with Dora on my pillow mulitple times. Then this morning she started walking all over my face and all I could think about was what she did in the litter box. Haha. Missed those furry things! I guess as soon as they were on the freeway last night after meeting us, my dad was like, "I miss those cats." Which is funny, since that's what I said when we had met up with my parents last week to have them grandkit sit for us and had just gotten on the road. :)

I'm glad you've been getting a little work! You are so cute about your "kitkits" - I think I giggle every time you talk about them! :)
